confessions

Guys guys, I did not have any other class of people to share this with, so here i am putting down my emotions afresh. Day before yesterday i spoke to my dad about my stammering and its root cause. Not that i did not talk about it earlier. but yesterday was special because during our course of discussion, he confessed that he thought he was the culprit who perpetuated stammer in me in my younger days. He held himself responsible for my plight with speech. And i could see that remorse and low tone of voice when he said that. I immediately put my foot down and said assertively that he does not have to blame himself for my speech. I clarified lot of things before my family members. Some say: "why are we even discussing about stammering, chinni (my pet name) talks just perfectly". To which i say: "that's because i am a covert PWS". But anyway, all said and done, stammering will always be something special which i can relate to, and others will feel that it's just a passing phenomenon. Sometimes i take strength in the fact that I am just lucky to have just stammer, people have worse disabilities to live with. So people, please count your blessings everyday and be happy for what you are. Mom's calling for breakfast, catch up with you later :)

bye till then.

Tata jagriti Yatra

I have been talking to many young people about stammering: Invariably they ask me: what am I doing in TJY? (assumption being that either I am yatri who is here to learn enterprise or am some kind of role model: both assumptions are untrue- and true in some ways..). I have been getting a mixed / complex picture; I have been asking: do you think stammering is a handicap, a problem, a disability? Here is the response I have received:
Stammering is not a problem; certainly not like Cancer or Blindness. There is no discrimination against them..
There are some people who listen, ask questions, try to understand and then are willing to concede that may be it is a handicap, a challenge for the person facing it..
None of the respondents knew that it has a biological basis; most believed it is a "sweet nothing" based in psychology.. Just have more confidence in yourself and talk!
On the other hand, many young people consulted me privately: you talked about stammering..I too feel like that.. can you tell me if it is stammering?
There were others, who could empathize based on analogy to their own personal experiences of being "different"..
At the end of the day, I feel, everyone is busy with their own issues, dreams, ambitions (as they should be of course..) and if anything has to change, it will happen only when we, the stammerers, work for it.. No shortcuts, no hand outs..
But I am happy that I have spoken to many people, interacted with them and certainly educated some that stammering has a neurological basis, has a genetic transmission and while it may not kill you- it does makes many things difficult because oral communication is so much at the heart of everything we do as a society..
So, take heart and keep talking..and educating people..
Get into ENTERPRISING mode for God's sake..and for your own sake!

CHANDIGARH SHG MEET # 7 REPORT

Dear Friends,
Good Afternoon,
On 26.12.2010 afternoon at 2.00 pm myself, Mr. JP, Mr. Varun, Mr. Prem and 3 new members viz. Mr.Ragesh Jandial & Mr. Aditya Khajuria both from Jammu and Mr. Harsh Preet Singh from Amritsar met in sector 33 park Chandigarh. We welcomed the new members.
We started the meet with laughter session followed with relaxation exercises to calm down our brain and speech organs. We also did deep breathing and anulom vilom yogas as being told by yoga guru Shri Ram dev ji. Then everyone gave self introduction in slow voluntary stuttering method. We deliberated on following theme of the day:
''RESIGNING TO THE FACT''
That is resigning to the fact we might always stammer, and doing it properly is not giving up. It is further knowing that we have reached a certain level of understanding, from where we may focus on making the most of what we have got.
New members were requested for complete acceptance of the problem from heart. First in front of the mirror or in bathroom to self and next confiding in someone close that they stammer and are working on it. This works like a magic.
It was also deliberated that we should keep ourself happy and once we accept our handicapcy we should not take it very seriously. Toward laughter we shared jokes. On a query of new members Mr. JP informed that our goal is to become a better communicator and not an expert orator.
I shared with them my meeting with Mr. Raja Poladi in Hyderabad and also God Reward meeting with Dr. Sachin at Delhi Airport.
Need to devote at least 45 min. in a day for coming out of our handicapcy was again emphasised.
As the tests on drug Pygoclone have failed, it was again told to ourselves that there is no cure for stammering but certainly we can become better communicator with our will power and working on it.
We dispersed after laughter session and promise to meet next week.

GOD REWARDS OUR GOOD DEEDS

Dear Friends,
I have been advocating quite often about good deeds and telling fellow PWS in SHG too that we should do some deeds close to our heart. In return we get immense satisfaction , which facilitates us to become a good communicator. But I was not aware that God immediately rewards our good deeds too, until I realised the same on 24.12.2010 at Delhi Airport. On arrival from Hyderabad I was waiting at Delhi Airport for Chandigarh flight and had around 3 hours in between. I was wondering what to do and how to spend quality time. As I was waiting on a chair I saw a lady passing in my front and dropping her boarding pass. I called her but she didn't listen. I picked up the pass but could not run after her as I was carrying a heavy bag. Then taking risk I requested a person to take care of my bag and ran after the lady. I reached her at a short distance and handed over the boarding pass. Without waiting for a second, I immediately rushed back to take care of my bag. That person was still there looking after my bag. I thanked him for his time and taking care. I was feeling an immense satisfaction for the helping act. I again started thinking what to do as I was still left with 2 and 1/2 hrs. for my flight. But as I stood up to go to a book shop I saw a person looking at me. I also started looking at him. Then I suddenly said Sachin . He also said Jasbir. Dr Sachin was standing in front of me who had come from Dehradun. I could not have asked for a better gift from God for my so called helping act to a fellow passenger. We both had a very good quality time at the Airport and chatted about stammering, Pygoclone drug etc. This was my second meeting with Dr. Sachin. He is such a wonderful person , after meeting him, the desire to meet again grows. I am grateful for your time Sir.
Hope Dr. Sachin you could catch your onward flight comfortably. I was calling but could not reach you.
MANY MANY THANKS THE ALMIGHTY FOR THE WONDERFUL REWARD.

MEETING WITH A FELLOW PWS IN HYDERABAD

During my official visit to Hyderabad last week, I requested Dr. Sachin about any fellow PWS at Hyderabad. Dr. gave me contact details of Mr. Raja Poladi. After finishing my job on 23.12.2010 evening , I requested Mr. Raja to come over for a meeting. I am very grateful to Raja who despite having a very busy schedule spared his valuable time and drove all the way to Banjara Hills where I was staying. He took me to Barista coffee shop where he offered hot coffee while we shared our concerns relating to communication. Raja is a very intelligent person and has good knowledge on stuttering. I further noticed that he is an excellent communicator besides a good human being. He explained that he is having only a very few situational problem, like initiating a question in a gathering. I request Dr. Sachin to guide in such circumstances. However I suggested Raja to encounter such situations quite often instead of avoiding it. FACE THE FEAR IT GOES, AVOID THE FEAR IT GROWS. We talked in length about our problems, SHG etc. I have come back from Hyderabad alongwith sweet memories of Raja Poladi and having added a good friend in my life.
ALL THANKS AND CREDITS TO DR. SACHIN.

Power of Positive Thinking

Sometimes in our life we don't know what to do & where to go.We feel darkness all around us & think that life has no mean.We think that we should die because we couldn't do anything & won't do in further life .At that time the one small but powerful thing can change our life is "Positive Thinking".A life with positive thinking can make some differences. We can do everything with this attitude but need to think positive. One thing which should be in our mind that everything is preplanned from the top & we cannot stop these.Just do your work from bottom heart & let the GOD to do for you.
Everyday in the morning raise your hands & say "GOD thanks for everything you given me".Every day in the morning feel that Life is so beautiful & there are many opportunities waiting.Just try & grab these opportunities. The one will be definitely for you.Don't compete with friends, colleagues or family members.Just wait for good time & one day you will touch milestone.

We should keep these lines in our mind :

To achieve something
You have never achieved before,
You must do something
You have never done before.

Soyez heureux :)

CHANDIGARH SHG MEET # 6 REPORT

Dear Friends,
Good afternoon,
On 19.12.2010 myself, Mr. Ishan, Mr. Balkaran and a new member Mr. Manish Chhabra met in Sector 33 Park chandigarh at 3.00 pm. Though I had sent SMS to all members but the attendance was thin this time. But we were delighted to see a new member Mr. Manish, who is working with LOREAL. He has some problem while talking in English only. Otherwise he is quite fluent and speaks in a very controlled manner. I suggested him to practice more english speaking keeping in mind the 3 principles i.e. talking in slow relaxed manner by taking breath and to avoid any kind of excitement which tends to increase our speed. And never to avoid any English speaking situation. He was also advised to have a talk with Dr. Sachin regarding his problem.
As usual we started the meet with laughter session followed by relaxation exercises to calm down our brain and speech organs. We exercised slow speaking methods with voluntary stutterings. Then we deliberated on following theme of the day:
"IF IT ISN'T ONE THING, IT'S ANOTHER"
Need for accepting the problem with heart was again emphasised. Humans seem to be programmed to create problems for themselves. Had it not been stammering, it would certainly had been some other problem. We should be thankful to God that our problem is manageable with self control and practice. Only what is required is a strong will power.
Mr. Balkaran informed that morning breathing and stretching exercises are helping a lot in overcoming the problem.
We dispersed after laughter session and promise to meet next week.

Celebrating Liberation

Pic: Left to Right- Harish, Prakash and Rahul.

Video 1: Prakash giving an introduction about himself on camera.

Video 2: Harish telling the story of Guzaarish on camera.

Today was 19th December – The Goa Liberation Day! The day on which Goa got independence from the Portuguese rule. With freedom in the air, we also decided to celebrate Liberation- liberation from the stammering attitude.

We met at around 10.30 am, in a half-constructed building. The meeting was attended by Rahul, Prakash and Harish. We had the following activities.

1. We started with 10 minuites of meditation (Dhyan). After that, we discussed about how the experience was, and whether we could concentrate, and what techniques we used to gain concentration.

2. We had a practice session of Prolongation. All three of us recited in sync the entire barakhadi (a aa e ee u uu) in prolonged voice and every time raising the pitch of the voice.

3. Then we had a round of story telling when one person started a story and every member had to add a sentence using bouncing or prolongation.

4. We played a game. Participants had to ask questions to each of us. But the rule of the game was question had to be answered only after the participant finds a pebble and places it on a wooden plank. This was to practice talking by taking our time when we are met with sudden questions.

5. Then we had a very important session. Each participant had to tell a story of any movie that they have watched. But they had to tell the story by facing the camera. The speech was recorded, and later the speech was played, and each one of us scrutinized our speeches, analysed it, and also observed a few secondary symptoms (facial expressions or movement of hands etc.) that we have.

6. We had another session of introducing ourselves in front of the camera, and we all analysed the videos again.

We had loads of fun while doing all those above exercises, had fruitful practice sessions and also learnt a few things more about our speech.

Before parting away, Rahul shared an incident about how he had to go to a post office and buy envelope and a stamp. He could have well avoided it, he says, but he shared how he did it, even if he knew that he would stammer. He stammered alright, but was happy that he did it himself! On that happy note, we bade farewell to each other, promising to meet again next week.

Pictures and a couple of videos shared.

Interaction with Herbertpur SHG.

In the evening, I had a very interesting session with two members of the Herbertpur SHG- Parmanand and Nishu. Parmanand is an accountant by profession and is a PWS, while Nishu is a student, a part-time DJ and is a non-PWS who works with TISA as a volunteer. We talked on many things about stammering and related issues. Basically I was looking to interview a few volunteers for an article on Samvad. And I got loads of content to say the least! I then had a brief practice session of Bouncing with Dr. Sachin.

All in all, it would say, this was one of the most productive Sundays I’ve had after a long time!

My experience @ Partha Bagchi's Clinic

I'm sharing my experience of attending 13 sessions @ Partha Bagchi's clinic. The very first day he introduced me with the basic technique of prolongation and we had to follow it all day long. Apart from that he even put emphasis on vocal exercises as well as meditation. He even made us talk on the microphone in front of other PWS which is helpful for people who have a fear of talking in front of a crowd.

Now how effective the course is??
Well it is effective...but not a necessity when you know the relevant techniques...and you practice it religiously yourself. I have observed that the main problem that lies with us stammerers is a want of a instant cure and giving hope all hope when we fail to get the cure. I had gone to take his therapy with the same thinking and was expected to have a stammer free life after those 2 weeks. I had improved my speech to a considerable extent but wasn't fully cured and due to that i kinda lost hope and gave up practice and i'm back to my previous state. So do remember one thing....practice is the key....of course i knew all the techniques but never practiced it myself....but did it there...so it helped a lot.

So it isn't a necessity to attend any course if u know the techniques but knowing isn't enough, u need to apply them too and practice it regularly.

One thing I didn't like about Partha Bagchi was his misleading advertisements of a sure cure within 14 days otherwise it was okay.

So to sum up, the course is very effective but nothing new(information wise) for people who have attended speech therapies, done researches, etc. Only thing is that you get a environment to practice at a stretch of 14 days there with everyone else.

The thing is we know a lot bout stammering, infact I feel that I know so much that I can help people get rid of their stammer but when it comes to me I lack the determination to practice everyday. Just knowing isn't enough.

I had been talking with Sachin Sir, and have plans of opening a SHG in my area in Kolkata. Will start it very soon.

Interested people from Kolkata can contact me. My number is 9836150610.

Informal get together 24-26th December

Friends, we are having an informal get together at Herbertpur (35 km from Dehradun) from 24th to 26th December 2010.

Tentative plan:
24th: a get-together over lunch, of children and young people who stammer (total number expected about 20). Before and after lunch, it is free time, when some of us can just relax, stroll in the market or just sit and chat.
25th: a day hike to Balbhadra temple (7,500 feet) with picnic lunch. Total About 8 km. 5 km climb to temple, then 3 km level walking to the pick up point near Mussoorie. Difficult but picturesque trek. It will be the whole day affair. Those who dont want to trek, can stay back, at Vikasnagar. But I am sure all of you can do it.
26th: Morning visit (tentative) to Ashokan edict at kalsi (10 km away). After lunch, a general get together for discussion about TISA activities. Dispersal by evening.

I can help with booking of rooms at Guru Kripa complex in Vikasnagar if you let me know in advance. It has a big restaurant in the basement and market close by. Vikasnagar & Herbertpur (just 2 km apart) is a small place and room will be between Rs 300-500 per day. It will be quite cold - so do bring heavy woolens (cap, gloves etc.). If you are from close by (Paonta, Dehradun etc.) you are welcome to make day visits.

The overall idea is to meet, discuss, review and plan ahead. But without getting in knots!

Peace! Amen!
sachin

Salute to All

Very Good Morning to All

Today i m going to dedicate this poem to all the PWS communities & the people who are fighting from their fears & struggles & want to live with dignity
:)

Searching Desperately

Good morning friends,

Happiness: The word slightly creates a confusion. What is the definition of Happiness. What is the measurement for happiness don't know.I remember that i always said to my friend "yar you have a good wife,2 cute children & lot of money you are the happiest person".He said every time nai yar i m not and i thought ab or kya chahiye life mein. But life is beyond these things. Many of us think if we don't stammer we could do lot better in life but there is no guaranty. You can see all around that ppl are not happy even they are fluent & doing good.Happiness come with Satisfaction. If you are satisfied, you are the happiest person & satisfaction comes with love & care. When you help others, when you think about your family or Colleagues you always be happy.Life is a race, everyone is running for success & we don't have time to talk but who cares ?

The famous quotation written by ~Robert Brault :

"If you search the world for happiness, you may find it in the end, for the world is round and will lead you back to your door."

what you think guys ?

Lesson of Life

Dear Friends A very good afternoon

I have written some lines(in Hindi) for those ppl who are thinking negative thoughts becoz of their stammering. They are thinking they didn't achieve anything in their past & they won't in the future. But my friends its part of life.Just faith on God, do your Best & remember these lines -

" Jivan ek kathin dagar hai , Rasta Bahut Prakhar Hai.
Milti hai Jindagi ek hi bar, Ise sahej kar rakhna mere yar.
Safalta chumegi tumhe bar bar, Jindagi mein hote hai chamatkar mere yar."

CHANDIGARH SHG MEET # 5 REPORT

Dear Friends,
A very good morning,
On 12.12.2010 afternoon at 2 pm, myself, Mr. Dhruv, Mr. Ishan, Mr. Mohit, Mr. Prem and 2 new members Mr. Varun & Mr. Balkaran met at sector 33 park Chandigarh. We welcomed the new members. Mr. Varun is an HRD Executive and Mr. Balkaran has done B. Tech from SLITE. Mr. Varun has also recently joined Chandigarh Toastmaster club. This time we missed Mr. JP and Miss Jaspreet, who could not join because of some pre- occupations. Hope both can make up next time. We started the meet with laughter exercise. Laughter relaxes our brain and helps towards better communication. We did meditations for relaxation and strengthening of brain, followed by exercise to relax the speech organs. Then each one of us read paras from newspapers in slow prolongation method. Need for keeping our voice a bit louder was also emphasised, particularly to Ishan, which helps in overcoming the blocks. Further, need to wipe out one of the most detested sentence " I CAN'T DO IT" from our life was deliberated. These small words have a huge impact in our life. They have prevented us from living the lives we want. Mr. Mohit gave a very valuable input by saying that we should always try to remain happy in all the situations. It really helps in overcoming the stuttering by keeping us relaxed. Mr. Varun suggested that like in Toastmasters each member here should also speak on something for 2-3 minutes. We shall do it next time. Every member should come prepared with some topic to speak. All members showed very keenness for having an early workshop at chandigarh by inviting Dr. Sachin. The mail received from Dr. Sachin regarding workshop dated 18.11.2010 was read over to all members and the concerns deliberated. Mr. Dhruv offered to help in finalising the venue and other logistics. With promise to meet again next week we dispersed. All members are again requested to write their comments on the meet to incorporate value additions for coming Meetings.

Genesis of a SCAM

Scam is like a Ball room dance. Both partners anticipate each other's moves and position themsleves accordingly, for the personal advantage. Blaming one party will be childish. Scammer and "scammed" glide on the polished floor in unison- to the game of outdoing each other! It has been seen that people who are looking out for a bargain, often get scammed: a lady who wants to convert her brass-ware into gold quickly, the man who wants to convert his 100 Rs note into four thousand rupee notes etc. etc.
Something similar could be happening right under your nose. Here is the email I got from a young IPWS, few days back:
Hey guys, SpeechEasy is now in India. I want to write an article so that more and more people would know it's available in New delhi, India.
Last time i posted the same message and it didn't say anything like "your message is sent".
I requested him to submit a review by email to us and we would publish it, if it meets the criteria of objectivity. A week later, we get this email:
what exactly do you mean by review. is it the experience i had with SpeechEasy. and how could i write it .i dont know much about TISA website and how to write the review. please let me know.

let me answer your questions anyways
1)yeah i have been personally using it for last 11 days.i got it on 28th november, 2010.
2)there are many models of SpeechEasy available in India ranging from 1lakh to 4 lakhs
3) for after sales services ,please get in contact with the provider.his details are below
http://www.speecheasyinternational.com/india.php
Thanks,
The people who are selling a DAF device for Rs 1 to 4 lakh in India, and this young man who wants to promote it at TISA website (what is the quid pro quo here?)- are they not scammers? He apparently is on a shopper's high. He has used it for just 11 days. Having blown up Rs one lakh (father's hard earned money?), he is feeling very good and wants to encourage other young IPWS to go for it! I am quite sure the country is full of such people who are desperately looking for a "CURE", which can be bought over the counter. Statistically, you could have the same effect by blowing conch shell, reciting Gayatri mantra, putting pebbles in mouth etc. etc. at a price far cheaper than Rs one lakh!!

The DAF does not cure stammer. Whatever beneficial effects you notice, wear off in a month or two. It is quite inconvenient to use in a noisy place like market etc. etc. Okay, we have warned you. Gamble at your own risk!

Sorry i didn't write any post in the last month.I was in my Native place and last week i came back to Mumbai for searching job again.I was thinking from last 10 yrs that one day i will join any speaking class.I tried many times but every time i came back from the doors. But after a Decade i finally joined the classes.I had never spoke in public places before. It was a great experience for me & i want to share with all of you.Yesterday was my third class & i spoke first time in front of Audience.I was feeling fear & nervousness in my entire body specially in my stomach & mouth. When i started speaking i forgot everything what i thought in my during the break.Thoughts were not coming in my mind & i was trying to make coordination between mouth & my mind. i spoke 3-4 minutes & stammered many times during my topic but finally completed. They all were listing very carefully & at the end they appreciated me.Its biggest achievement for me & i never thought in my past that i will do this. I don't care i will be fluent or not in my entire life but i will become a good speaker.
At the End the entire credit for this new change in my life goes to Sachin Sir who motivated me a lot when i met him in pune two months ago.Thank You Sir.

Soyez heureux :)

SPEECH EASY INTERNATIONAL

Dear Friends,
Good Afternoon,
Today morning at 08.48 A.M. I received a SMS from Dr. Prashant Malik, Best Hearing Solutions, R-21, Greater Kailash-1, New Delhi-48 advocating instant solution to stammering by trying Speech Easy devise. When I called back, Dr. Malik said he took my no. from TISA. He explained that it is an Altered Auditory Feedback device which is used to reduce stuttering and to help increse fluency. It was further clarified that Speech Easy alters sounds that go through the device so that you hear your voice at a slight time delay and at a different pitch. The purpose of the delay and pitch change is to recreate a natural phenomenom known as the "choral effect". The choral effect occurs when your stutter is dramatically reduced or cven eliminated when you speak or sing in unison with others. This is how it works. Cell no. of Doc. 9999927791 and site www.speecheasyindia.com
TISA members , founders and readers are requested to offer their early comments on the above please and the way Dr. Malik is approaching TISA members for marketing the product.

Confusion worse confounded !

Someone has sent me a sms: Sir, what can I do for hesitation I feel just before talking? I feel breathless etc...
I am sure this person is not expecting a one hour discourse by way of help from me! He expects a quick and brief technique sms-ed to him. I dont think he would be very happy if I send him a link to the 40 page self help manual available for free on the web! How about, just sending one of these one line sms:
Have faith in ourself!
Take a deep breath before you start..
Accept yourself and your stammer!
Just talk- dont think!
Prepare well!
Just slow down!
Just phone my SLP friend in Chandigarh and Delhi (who charge only Rs 20,000 and give no effective guarantees) ...
I am sure none of this is going to help him, since he must have been through all this on his own. What can I do to help him? There are many such instances. Another IPWS who knew me for more than an year, never asked for any help ever. Suddenly, he phoned one morning, just one hour before his visa interview in British embassy. He wanted me to tell him some technique to use during interview!

Why do we do this? The problem is: since stammering is not exactly life threatening, and keeps waxing and waning- we never take it as seriously, as we would High fever, Angina (heart) pain, loss of consciousness, attack of fits, giddiness, high blood pressure etc. etc. It is embarrassing - yes, but it does not stop the business of life.

Yes, over the years we accumulate lot of pain, embarrassment and other emotional baggage- but we deal with it by ignoring it, by brushing it under the carpet. To use a concept from Eckhart Tolle, we develop a "pain-body", without being conscious of it. The only sign is- sometime this "pain body" plays up a little bit and we feel low/ sad / depressed/ frightened or irritated for no reason.

Some of us, wake up, when the accumulated frustration (or pain) becomes too much for us to ignore. But even then, we just want a "quick" solution for "my own" problem. We have no intention of getting involved with the whole shebang of the stuttering community, self help group etc. etc. Let "my problem" be solved and I have no time for the rest. This is how we deal with other above mentioned problems- high fever, fits etc. etc. This approach (private solution) works there but not here. Why? because stammering is as much a social problem as it is a neuro-biological, affective, cognitive problem. We dont stammer when we talk to ourselves.

Secondly, as long as "pain body" is there, we can not have a lasting cure. To dissolve the "pain body", one must get down to the serious business of overhauling oneself completely. In my experience, few have that kind of commitment and temperament. But it can be done. Many have done it in the past and many will do it in future. Do a Google search for pain body: you will find some good videos on you tube and many articles...

Learnings for PWS from Akio Toyoda's Interview with Prannoy Roy

I had a chance to see Toyoto Motor Corporation Chairman's (Akio Toyoda) few days back. The interview was set in the background of Toyota launching a new India specific sedan 'Etios'. During the interview, Prannoy Roy asked his host about his emotions & feelings when he had to testify before US Representatives, after a series of quality issues in their cars. The tone of this question gave away his intent. As would have been expected, he (and I must admit even myself - maybe even most of audience) were expecting the host to share emotions of 'pain' ,'deep regret' and 'embarrassment'. While he did say he that the event wasnot something that he would have ideally liked to get into, but what he said later on was quite interesting. He mentioned at the time of speaking with Congressmen, he looked at that moment as an "opportunity". He didnot think he was talking with Congressmen per se, rather customers, dealers and members of extended Toyota family - especially since his testimony at US Congress was being televised with the camera on a close-up. He shared that when he knew that he was getting so much attention he thought that the best way to sieze this opportunity would be to give to the peole of America a heart felt & true account of what Toyota really stands for, share his emotional bounding with this philosophy and use this opportunity to influence more and more people to join Toyota family.

Well... You may be wondering , how does this incident hold any significance to PWS? To my mind , this incident holds out a message of "positive thinking" not only to PWS community but to everyone else who are confronting adverse situation. It is a message from the leader of one of world's top brands that inspite of the being placed in an extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing situation, he was not put down, nor did he feel threatened but rather took the courage of positive thinking.

A PWS also needs to take this path of courage, a path of positive thinking in his everyday fight with spoken words.
