Questions that could change..

I was reading somewhere that it took more than 10 years for American Medical Association to take Alcoholic Anonymous seriously: Okay- may be these untrained guys can really help each other!
Then, they began referring patients to them for support, awareness and skills (behavioural & emotional) on how to keep away from drinking..
As a doctor, I recall, I too was trained to be sceptical of claims based on "empirical" knowledge and "unscientific" mumbo-jumbo. As I joined social work in my late thirties, my beliefs changed and expanded considerably. Anyway, let us help Erik Raj, SLP from USA understand what works better for PWS by taking a 10 minute survey. Let us do it for a better tomorrow for PWS.. TISA strongly urges you to take this brief survey. Yes, I will request Erik to share his findings with us at the earliest, without waiting for publication in journals!

=====================

Dear members,

My name is Erik X. Raj and I am a speech-language pathologist and Ph.D. student at Wayne State University (Detroit, MI, USA).  I am conducting research on the use of online communities for adults who stutter.  The purpose of my study is to determine if an online community for people who stutter is valuable in its ability to provide psychosocial support for the participants.

If you are an adult who stutters who has taken part in conversations and discussions about stuttering in an online community, I would encourage you to fill out this 10 minute survey.  Some examples of taking part in an online community could include talking with people who stutter on Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo groups, Google Hangouts, Skype, message boards, chat rooms, or back and forth email chains.

The link to the survey can be found below:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dGFRTzN3STNvcEcyNXNMamx2S05VRGc6MQ

This 35-question survey should take no more than 10 minutes.  If you have any questions about this survey, please feel free to contact me anytime at eraj@wayne.edu.

Thank you in advance, friends.

With gratitude,
Erik X. Raj, M.S., CCC-SLP
