TISA( mumbai)

My self ritesh yadav . I am from mumbai , I want to thanks all tisa members , for forming such a helpful group in all over india .TIsa is like a sunrise in a stammerer life . My thinking and attitude of leaving life has been changed after joining TIsa .Previously i use to think that i am a useless creature of god , my only goal in the life was to hide my stammering and nobody should call me hakla . The word hakla use to sound me like a ringing bell of shame and guilt in myself but after joining tisa my thinking has been changed now a days the word hakla seem to me as a reward , it increase my confidence previously i was hiding my stammering but now a days i am open about it that i am stammerer . i am big hakkla. , i am proud to be hakla. .now a days i stammerer without shame , yesterday i went to an goverment office for obtaining my home tax bill , there was an officer cabin for enquiry , i gone there infront of officer and i stammerer a lot for enquiry , and i obtained my tax bill and paid it . and one think clicked in my mind that i stammered a lot but there was no guilt and no shame to it that i stammered . my guilt and shame has been died that i am stammerer this is a benefit of joining Tisa " haklo magar pyar se" that day i understood the concept of haklo magar pyar se

Great! Now you should read this page. You will realize that some wise men understood this phenomena- but most of others (many therapists included) had no understanding of this dimension (fear, shame, guilt, anger) of stammering..

Well done Ritesh. Its great that you shared your experience. This would motivate many young people to not let stammering hold them back!
