Life is...Go On - (a short story) Part 2

Continuing from Part 1 :-

Vishal used to take all these teasing very lightly as if he knew that sonia was kidding every time.

Time move on; Vishal got selected in NDA (National Defense Academy) & left for the training.

Vishal was so happy after his selection to be an officer in Indian Army.

On the other side, Neha got engaged to Hitesh. It was a typical engaged marriage incident where Neha & Hitesh gradually got closer to each other with time & subsequently Neha was erasing her eternal feelings for Vishal.

She had accepted Hitesh as her soulmate.

It was almost 3 months back, when Vishal & Neha met each other for the last time. It was the occasion of her marriage. Also, vishal was on holidays after successfully completing his training.

Vishal had been posted at Kashmir as his first posting after his training. Posting at such a tensed location had made everyone worried; Vishal was very excited though as Kashmir is considered as one of the most beautiful places in India, full of natural beauty.

Vishal shared almost all the responsibilities of her brother to assure that everything went fine in the marriage ceremony.

The fresh memories of Mehandi ceremony, where he never looked like a poor guy trapped in between a bunch of girls with their ending demands for their favorite music & food. He almost fulfilled all their wishes.

Whenever, we girls tried to tease him, he used to simply pass his magical sweet smile.

Neha was smiling unconsciously remembering that incident; suddenly her dream was broken by a loud car horn. They have entered the town. It was quite rush , with roads almost chocked with vehicles. Being a small township, it was an uncommon scene for them. They just got the feeling that this entire crowd there is to give their tribute to Captain Vishal; a martyr now.

To be continued...
