Hard work and determination lead to success

We are very familiar to aforesaid line. But actually it’s half true. When I postmortem the content, I found that it consists of two line.

“Hard work and determination leads to failure, and failure leads to success.”

I felt that thing in our last SHG meeting. We always failed with a hope of success.

We are usually punctual with the meeting timings but this Sunday we started little bit late. Ravi gave his first Icebreaker speech followed by Pramod’s thought sharing. After that all member took part in table topics round and gave their best effort in those precious two minutes. Bharath took the initiative and share some of his knowledge about goal setting and faster way to achieve those goals. Last session was like an open session, where we discussed some of the issues, like how can we make future meetings better and many more. Meanwhile I came up with a question and in reply I got that “Answer lies in mystery.”

Arjun,Ravi Teja ( new TISA member ) & myself met in the park.While we were having a brief introduction about Ravi ,our SHG co ordinator Ram arrived.Later Vamsi,Anjaneyulu joined us.

TISA Dehradun SHG Meeting- 21st February, 2016

Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing well. This Sunday, TISA Dehradun SHG organized the communication meet at Gandhi Park in Dehradun.

Total No of participants- 10

Name of the participants- Ashish, Dinesh Kumar Soni, Dinesh Kumar, Laxman, Harmeet, Jasmeet, Akash, Mohit, Chandra Mohan, Ujjwal (non-stammerer).

As usual, most of the members were late! From next time, we have to be more punctual otherwise it ruins all the plans. Anyways, we had 4 new members in this meet. Akash, Dinesh Kumar, Laxman and Jasmeet.

We started with the introductions. Everyone introduced themselves with an amazing stutter and clutter !! They told their name, occupation, address and phone numbers. And as usual, we had uninvited guests as well who are always welcomed to provide that deadly glare !!

In this meet, we planned to had mock interviews of the participants. For this special task, we had a special guest. Mr Ujjwal Aggarwal from Group Flyway Enterprises, a job consultancy firm based in Dehradun, came specially to conduct the interviews. In the panel, we had Mr Ujjwal and Mr Dinesh Kumar Soni, Senior Economic Investigator.

According to the "candidates" they had the actual experience of an interview and it really gave them the required exposure. At the end, Mr Ujjwal and Mr Dinesh gave their valuable suggestions to the candidates.

Then we had a 3 member role play activity. Surprisingly, this went very well. This is because most of the members were new, so we thought it might be little difficult for them. But they were so comfortable among themselves, that they performed outstandingly.

Harmeet and Jasmeet, SINGH Brothers left early as they had their business meeting arranged, Mr Ujjwal left early as he had a business appointment.

There were other things in the agenda as well but due to time constraint, it could not be completed. For the next time, we will be having a time keeper and hopefully, we will move indoor for the further meetings.

Bangalore SHG June 22, 2014 meeting report

As always , we met on Sunday the 22nd June in Cubbon park and bangalore is pleasant with cool weather on any given day.

At first we had an introduction round. Not surprisingly we surpassed the double digits with 11 participants this time. It was a blend of new and old faces and the introduction round was short and sweet.

The 11 members who took time out to improve themselves and others were Abhinav,Akash dixit, Anita singh , Anupam ,Arun kumar, Dinesh , Pramod , Sai ram , Shamail, Esu babu ( New member ) and myself Sharath.
