CHAT WITH A FELLOW PWS.

During my recent visit to Delhi I had a meeting with a recovered PWS Shri Lalit Chawla. Mr. Chawla is retired engineer from AIR INDIA. Though we are phono friends for around six months but my desire of meeting him could materialize on 10.09.2013. Mr Chawla was nice enough to come over to Connaut Place in New Delhi where we shared various common issues over a cup of coffee (courtesy Mr. Chawla). I learned a very beautiful thing from him that throughout his career he never on any occasion let stammering over power him. He had always been putting forward his view point despite blocks i.e. he had accepted his communication the way it was. This is true acceptance which we are promoting in TISA. Further there was never any desire/ urge in him to correct/improve the way he is communicating. In Delhi Metro I saw a very beautiful word for handicapped person i.e. “differently abled “.He is truly an example of a differently abled person. I requested him to come in coming NC and share his views on communication which he kindly accepted. I presented him a copy of Apne Hath Jaggantah.

Looking forward to see Mr. Lalit Chawla in National Conference.

I think the need of the our is to find out success stories for motivation of fellow PWS and for conviction that improvement in communication is achievable.I never let go any chance of meeting such persons.
