Chandigarh SHG Report

Today September 23rd, 2012 , A very hot day at Chandigarh . But TISA Organization organized its Self Help Group meet as it does every Weekend. This meet was organized at Rose Garden Sec 16 Chandigarh. 4 PWS attended the meet and the meet was conducted by Arun Pasricha currently studying Diploma in Computer Engineering at SLIET University  The members who were present over there are Ishan Sharma studying Electrical Engineering PEC Chandigarh , C.A. Sumeet Nagpal Charted Accountant from Punchkula , Kunwar Brar an Engineering Aspirant from Bathinda .
First of all we all introduced ourselves and talked about their Problems, Fears and the Embarrassing Moment. Then I asked them that they have attended so many meetings till now and do they Practice at home. Since their Answer was a Clear Cut NO.  Then I gave a Motivational 10 min talk to them and then we started to ask Questions to each other.
In this meet I focused on practical Implementations of the FACTS and the METHODS to cope with Stammering rather just meeting and theoretically discussing over the matter. We all roamed in the park and asked the public various questions using Voluntary Stuttering , Prolongation Technique and Bouncing Back Technique . We talked to the people and told them that we are stammerers and we are here to do our stammering practice. We had views of different people about how they feel when we talk like this with you . We all developed a great  confidence and we all felt very happy . Overall everyone was feeling very good and refreshed and our this meet was a great success.

Thanks a lot, guys- for turning TISA ideas into reality..
Talking to people (real people) using those techniques is REALLY good. The beneficial effect of all this will be clear to you in a few months time- TILL then, keep encouraging yourself and others to come to meeting..
