I had an presentation in front of my class on this Friday.
Before saying anything about this presentation, I want to say something about my first presentation. It was in my first year. I had a lot of fear in my mind, and always thought that I would not stammer at all in front of class. But when I started, I blocked on certain words and I avoided those. Then I finished the sentences in between. After two minutes, I found that I am not able to say a single word. Every word was blocking for me and I was avoiding every word and just saying "aaa... ooooo...." on the stage. Then I said to professor that, "Sir, I can't give" and sat down.
After that I never go for public speaking for two years.
After joining TISA, I learnt about acceptance. This time firstly, I went to stage and said, "As you know, I use to stammer. So, I need some extra time. If you want to give me, please raise your hands". Everybody raised their hands and I started with good confidence. Topic totally reflects myself "Social Impact of Entrepreneurship".
Now you can see this video. (Video starts from in between the presentation so acceptance of stammering part is not in this video)
and this statement is valid for every problems of life, not only stammering "IF YOU WANT TO EXCEL, YOU HAVE TO DO MISTAKES". So, go for the mistakes........
