TISA Delhi SHG 9 OCT

On last Sunday 9oct, Delhi SHG meeting held on central park, connaught place delhi. This time members were low in counting perhaps minimum.May be because of festivals. Four members (Umesh, Abhishek, Parmendra and Sikander) attended this meeting. We all sat in park without caring others people there . Start to practice our bouncing and other technique one bye one. First we all spoke our most feared words by standing in front. Other people watched us or not, we don't care. A difficult word for one pws, may be simple for other. Then other gave him suggestion that it's just so simple yaar. Just speak as I am. We had a lot of laugh by telling our funny incidents with stammering. Such funny talk on stammering we only can make with these meeting friends . It's really a strange fun with a pain in heart. We did some other activities like Extempore presentations and at last discuss about the ongoing Delhi workshop. Made some call to other members and invite them. But I am the bad luck guy at that time, because Parmendra made few calls and lucky that other side person talked to him. but when i try , either number not respond or cut my call. I got some jealous by watching parmendra talking in his natural way of stammering, but I am so unlucky that i did not got a chance to stammer in my natural way.(humko bhi tho huklane ka ek cha-chance milana chahiye tha ki nhi). Anyway just jocking.
At last, we did the most awaited activity that i always seeks. Talking with strangers on regards with stammering. I always feel happy when I get to know the unknown people's reactions. They support us and we feel something proud and popular. It also shows them that we have courage and dare to talk on this social stigma. It was quite happy meeting till end and we enjoyed it little lower than previous ones because many members missed this one. I hope we get back to our full strength in next meetings. Thanks my other metting friends Ahishek, Parmendera and Sikander.

Good to see that Delhi SHG members are doing the right things by talking to "other" people because that's where the real problem lies. Great approach guys!!

Umesh- wonderful! Never worry about "strength" or number of the group.. Even if you arrive alone and practice.. THAT is wonderful!
But yes, there is more fun if there are friends with us..
Keep it up!

BTW- your writing ishtyle is becoming good!
