Vivek was here!!

So finally I can see that stammering has not killed the ability to take initiative and action completely. A young lad from Delhi finished his night shift and boarded a train and came right to Chandigarh for just four hours (he spent around 10-12 hours travelling for these four hours.)

So Vivek was here at 1 pm. We had a nice lunch at home before starting on with our "work". We started with exploring stammering in detail, stammering VS fear of stammering, bouncing and pausing technique. Vivek already maintains a very good eye contact :). We played a few games where we practised bouncing! After an hour of practising with each other, we headed to the market (on our way to market, we called Dr Sachin, and Vivek practised his bouncing skills ) to show people our stammering! I was quite surprised when Vivek took to it like a fish takes to water. He asked people a few tough questions like why are they not maintaining eye contact etc..I too jumped in once in a while and asked what are they doing here :-)...After two hours of bouncing with a lot of people, groups of people, shopkeepers, it was time to say good bye.

I must say that I feel I may have learned more than what I taught Vivek :-)..Vivek will soon write a detailed report on the blog about his experiences...So keep checking!
