While attending the national conference at Delhi, we had an activity where we needed to call a person and tell him/her why we went to NC.
I called up a friend of 8 years and first enquired about him. He is on leave from his office for the past 40 days to attend to his ailing wife.
After that I informed him that I have come to Delhi to attend national conference of TISA.
He called me yesterday and asked me how was my experience at NC. I told him that we have TISA national conference every year in which People who stammer meet up ;share their feelings. and have fun.
So the point is our friends do care for us PWS. We just need to reach out to them for help, inclusion and acceptance.

Very true. Sometime we turn away from our friends, thinking that they dont care about us...
I think it is a good idea to phone old friends unexpectedly, sometime..
exactly...sometimes we PWS makes a perception that no one wants to talk to us and in return we also do not call them or contact them...as a result we tend to live in imaginary world of ours which is full of pain and dissatisfaction....
Good work Abhishek...keep calling...
