Tackling difficult words

I've done Bachelors of Technology in Textile chemistry stream. This 'T' sound might be very easy to pronounce for everyone else even to non stammerers, but, for me, it was a nightmare.I had substituted this sound most of the times during my engineering education.I would never meet such a person who could be interested in my education, and if, even after taking all the precautions, it happened that I got to reveal my engineering stream, I would say Kapde wali line (clothes related) and I would pat myself that see, you haven't stammered.

I think, I would have avoided this word for almost 1000 times during my engineering. And, as a result, the fear of this word shaped as a devil and it would take a few minutes and almost all my energy to say get this sound out of entrance of my lips. Then I decide that I will never ever substitute this sound anymore.Since, that time, I haven't substituted this sound ever and even, sometimes, when i gained confidence gradually, I voluntarily used this sound in my speech to gain further confidence. Now, i don't have much fear of this sound anymore and most of the times, I can speak TEXTILE without any fear.
