Talking to boss over phone........with severe stammering!!!

Hope, quite clear from the title itself, what this post is all about!!!

These days, somewhat struggling to be more and more AUTHENTIC about my way of speaking, usually i feel as if my mind is divided into 2 parts......one part always behaves as if a decent, social, humble one while other one is a WILD,RISK TAKING and sometimes really CRAZY one.

Today it self in the office, i was having sort of severe stammering throughout.....still, trying to accomplish all my job targets and completing all the verbal communication requirements.

At evening after a number of really exhausting speaking experiences, while i was busy in a task given my my senior boss (boss of the boss), i come across an idea of making the task more fruitful than the original expectation.Generally, i used to implement those ideas readily and grab the extra bit of appreciation while sharing the results with the senior officials, but, today, my latter part of mind (who always enjoys pushing me in trouble) suddenly come up with a fresh trick to let me face the HELL.

It reminds me of brave people like adolf hitler, prithvi raj singh chauhan, alexander the great.........and push me to talk to my senior boss and get his permission for the implementation of my idea..........with the logic that if i can do it....i will be more open about my stammering and this courageous act will make me more OPEN about my stammering.

My humble part of mind (the former one) opposed it immediately- it would be a foolish act  Man!!!  Generally such good ideas are expected to be implemented by yourself........by the way,you are an executive here......by asking for his permission, you will show your lack of common sense.Don't do it all!!

Any how, as always, the CRAZY part wins with a step ahead..........i.e. it succeeded in making me asking for his permission at the PHONE........nothing more can be asked for!!!!

I stammered very badly............SSSSSSSSSSSSS...............SSSSSSSSSSSS...........ooffffffoooooooooo..SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSir...............anyhow, i completed my words............and he was very generous in letting me complete.

So, moral of the story is-----well actually, i don't know the moral..............let's see what you guys have to say about it??

Moral of the story:
1. You always had this courage but discovered it only yesterday- by challenging yourself..
2. Your boss did not cut the phone- he just wanted to know what you were saying: so, communication is important, stammering is not.

IMHO!
Keep at it!
