This is one of the finest discoveries of mine in the recent past. I know for some of us it can be a simple thing but believe me going through it, was a difficult thing specially for people like me who are caged in their own projected image. It may be because of the not that impressive image depression has or it also may be because of the image I project to the people around me. How many times we have discussed it in TISA work shops, blogs and our regular SHG meets, "acceptance, the first step to overcome our problems." How many times I have lectured it to my fellows but its always a different ball game when you have to face it yourself, isn't it?
Better late than never, I could able to acknowledge it, fortunately. This is what TISA, attending regular SHG meets, talking about my stammer openly and even just simply acknowledging that I am in a block have taught me. "See directly into the eyes of the problem and accept its existence then you will be in a much better state to find your way to solution." In my case it was attending a 10 day Vipassana session. How taking such small steps in our daily life can be so important in our way to self improvement!
I will write about my experiences with Vipassana in details in my next post.
Till then, live and enjoy every moment of your life. Be happy!
Thanks.
