Problem statement.....

Recently I attended a Problem solving session organized in my company. This Problem solving session was specific to company projects. The scope of the session was to find out the root cause of any Project issue.
After attending the session I was wondering to apply some of the technique in my personal well being.
The technique is called a fishbone diagram and it says:
1. Take a paper and draw a straight line and put a text describing your problem statement post the straight line.
2. Now create branches from that main line for various causes of the problem.
3. The branches may also take the shape of problem and you can draw another sub branch to indicate the causes.
4. After all the branches that indicates symptoms of the problem is defined, you can easily identify the root cause.

We can try this approach to find some of the answers to our stuttering issues. It is really helpful.
Here is the glimpse.

Good attempt. But go deeper. For example: I get excited when talking- why? Do others too get excited when talking- why not? Memories of past "breakdowns" gets activated, why? Why does one assume that what has happened ten times in the past, will happen this time too? What am I assuming here? What do I fear? etc. etc.
his exercise is used a lot in social studies.. and the fish bones multiply rapidly..
It can be fun to do it in a group, like SHG..Then, you will get many more factors out into the open..
