NC Dates finalised....

Okay, friends- please bear with us. The final dates are: 28-31 Dec. 2011 and 1st Jan 2012 (5 days). Venue will be IHS( http://www.ihsindia.org/ ) at Bhubaneshwar

Most people will get these days off, without much trouble, while for other slots, they will have to apply for leave, which may or may not get granted. Yes, we are aware that some of us, will be put to inconveniences and some may not be able to attend at all :-(
Our submission is: please bear with us and remember- this is not the last conference! We will have many more such occasions of getting together and learning from each other. Those who like to spend year-end with family and friends- our submission is- please consider us your family and friend this time- please!
So, please start getting your travel arrangements made. And remember your family too is welcome.
Please find the updated agenda @ http://www.scribd.com/doc/59881661/Conference-Agenda

In my opinion, we should divide the workshop in two modules of 2 and 3 days. Of course both will be consecutive.

This way, the two day module (maybe the conference) can be held on a weekend and more people will be able to attend it. After that, whoever wants to attend the 3 day workshop, can continue.

And let's finalize the dates asap, so that people can get air-tickets for cheap :-)

Regards

Nitin

I agree to Nitin. Whatever dates are decided, make sure the main conference should be on weekend so that many people can participate in the event. I am very happy that the conference is taking place in East India as I was born and brought in East India i.e Jharkhand which is a neibouring state of orissa. Due to my exams from 29 Dec to 31 Dec, I will not be able to attend the conference but it gives me a great pleasure that my TISA friends are going there. I am sure, this event will be a great motivation and help for the people living there. We have enough time, I request Dr. Sachin sir, JP and Nitin to get it published in Newspaper in Ranchi, Dhanbad, Kolkatta and Patna that there will be National Conference on Stammering in Dec 2011 so that many people can take benefit from it.

Dear Japs,

If possible, let the event be held in first week of Jan 2012 as I will try to attend it. As my exams will be over on 31st Dec, after that I can make a plan to go to Dhanbad, Jharkhand on 31st Night to meet my sister and will reach Bhubaneshwar on 5th and We will return Delhi together on 8th.

One more thing, please organize it in the week of Jan 2012 only when, it suits everyone.

With regards
