Model HR

Today Morning I got a call from a HR Executive explaining and seeking help for one of his team members who stammers. Although he did have generally prevalent notions about stammering (its psychological, lacks confidence etc.) what struck me is his involvement in his team member and more importantly a call came from a small scale diamond unit which perhaps will not even have a website of its own. Concern about stammering at this level of business is commendable. HR executive took time off to Google stammering help for his team member and warned all his staff members not to tease a PWS. I was reminded of Jai Sunda's HR Deptt., directly talking to Sachin about his sabbatical. However, it was Infosys and this is a small scale diamond polishing unit. Glad to note the attitudinal changes in HR :-) Akash
