ddddddeveloping...............

Hello,

Just yesterday, one of my friend (who is 33) and his wife and one girl came to visit my home formally. I usually be happy when guests come but also get worried about my stammer. I was having a good mature conversation with them and in midst of the conversation, I wanted to say 'developing' and it came from my mouth as 'ddddddeveloping'. But after that stammering , things did not change in our conversation. We had a normal talk. No one was bothered about 'ddddddeveloping'. We discussed much about educational scenario and much more.

So, why take stammering so seriously?
It happens and it will.
Whats big deal in it?

I'm 21 now and I've just gone through all immense pain and mental torment that almost all stammerers feel during college and school days. Being in a teen age and stammering, is little difficult , I may say. But when you grow up, I bet you will lead almost a normal life.

So, what is the moral of the story ?

As usual, DO NOT GIVE UP !!!!

NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP.

FALL SEVEN TIMES BUT STAND UP EIGHT !!!!

Regards,
WindStorm.

Yes, acceptance. That is the trick- not just for stammering, but many other things in life too. Acceptance is the step one. Then, of course other things come..like learning art and science of communication, as we learn any other complex skill..

We can give stammering a strong fight only if we never give up and believe in ourselves.

Acceptance & honesty are the key things.if u stammer no body will mind.Even i have faced 16 interviews so far & from past 5 interviews i said before starting that i have stammering problem & they said its OK if you have good knowledge(i m now desperately working on it).
