Massi, io sono un amico balbuziente da India, attualmente vivo a Legnano (Italia) su un periodo di prova...

Oh, dont worry if you dont understand.. it is all "Godfather stuff"- I mean Italian! And guess, who is this Al Italiano? Of course our friendly neighborhood Kishore! Dont you know this bright eyed boy from Kumaon? We find it difficult to start a SHG in our own backyard but this Daju from Almora is wrecking all records! He is starting a SHG in Italy! Massi, I am a stutter friend from India, currently I am living in Legnano (Italy) on a probation period. Its Carl herder (SLP, American Institute of Stuttering) who is helping me to find stutter friends in Italy as you can see below the attached mail .The purpose of writing this mail is to find more and more people with stutter and forming a support help group in Italy. You must have seen on internet that a lot of self help group are coming up in U.K, USA and India where a lot of Stutter friends are getting benefit and sharing their experiences. its a great platform to share one feeling with fellow stutters, sharing speech exercises that according to me help a lot to vent out stuttering frustration.

Recently i made few friend in Italy, from whom i am trying to get more and more information about stutters in italy. so that i can connect with them through skype and convince them to form a self help group.

Following are the list of people whom i wrote and they responded well to me:

It would be great help for me if you can provide me information about stutter people nearby my city (Legnano). Eagerly waiting for your response.

At this rate I am sure, he will cover great distances and achieve memorable milestones. So, what does all this indicate: Self help group do help people. Intelligent ones among these "people" carry on the message and try to help others sincerely: in the process they themselves get transformed!
