As we were waiting for all the members to come, those who were on time agreed to have conversation. This involved telling each other what they did on New Year’s Eve and what resolutions, if any, they made this year.
This Sunday SHG meeting was exclusively different as our host incorporated few new techniques with the introduction round. Each member had to move throughout the room while giving their introduction.
This enabled members to get comfortable with their body language as well as their speaking capacities when one is not stagnant at one place. So after the completion of introduction round we took a brief gap to celebrate Vishal’s birthday which looked
spontaneous at that moment but was actually planned by the rest of the members who were present at that time.
Next round was impromptu speech round where each member was given on the spot topics on which they have to speak for about two minutes. Interesting part was that members were also given the privilege of using a marker so that they could draw anything which was related to what they were speaking. Some of the members took their speeches to a different level by drawing graphs on board, that proved to be an exciting element to their speeches.
And the final round was most innovative as it was something thrilling. Each member at the count of 10 was supposed to speak anything random or share any experience, past or present and for this time limit was two minutes. Finally as the convention goes meeting ended with selfies and bidding each other goodbye.
