News @ TISA Hyderabad Chapter - 31 August

We were 9 members for the meetup.
Arun, Ramesh, Purna, Sushanth, Amit, Mauzzam, Siva, Teja and Rajesh

Activities happened are
1) Awareness Meditation
2) Prepared speeches
3) Slow speaking

A meditative mind can do many wonders, people who are unable to concentrate in typical meditation can opt for Awareness meditation. In this we concentrate on every body parts one at a time and try to relax it.
We gently say that body part to relax and it relaxes automatically. As nerves are all over the body and brain uses nervous system to execute commands. You can relax any part of the body with a gentle command to relax the part. The signal is executed by nerves of that part.
All members said that they were able to relax in a different positive level and were able to meditate properly i.e thoughts have never gone out of sync with present moments.

Prepared speeches - All members have given their prepared speeches with slow speaking.
Through out the meeting we pointed out members whenever they are trying to speak fast and at end everyone were happy that they were able to slow down their speech and enjoy its outcome.
We announced about national conference and its benefits and its final date for registration.

Together We Step Up :) Together We Succeed :)

Great. Progressive muscle relaxation is not just about relaxing muscles but also about developing awareness.. one becomes more "mindful" in day to day activity.. there is a lot of information avalaible on internet about this great technique..check this video for example-
